Hey Science Friends,
I have been out and about watching the weather! And as I was running around I cam across a few cute things that I had to have for some weather watching fun this coming year. You know reporting the weather is always a lot more fun if you have a cute outfit to wear, right? I knew it! I found this Backyard Explorer vest at Dollar Tree right along with the hat and glasses and before you knew it a Weather Reporter outfit was born. Just a Sharpie and a few little embellishments and we are ready to go! It was super easy and didn't take long! Now we are ready for a year of observing, recording and describing the weather!
I love this idea! If only Dollar Tree was open right now. I would be there. :)

DeleteHow cute!!! I saw those vests at Dollar Tree and had one in my basket but put it back because I couldn't think of what to do with it- doh!!

DeleteLove this idea. I just ran out and bought one. I just have one question. What is written to the right of the vest. You have observe & record on the left but I cant make out what is on the right.

ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea and so fun for the students. It is great what we can find at the dollar store so many great resources for the classroom. I love the printable to go along with the weather observation report and lesson, such a great way to learn about weather.
