Wow! What an amazing blog! So many great ideas. We are doing Lifecycles in science this term. I teach Year 2. I can't wait to read more of your blog and put some of your inspiring ideas into practice!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog via Kylie's Down Under Blog. (Thanks, Kylie - it really is great!).
I have just started blogging but maybe one day you'll be able to get some great ideas at my blog too. Come over and check it out: The Learning Curve - http://thelcurve.blogspot.com/
I'm going to write a post about your blog now too. :-)

I have blogged about your 5 Senses Unit, now I am keen to read about your pets in the classroom. Do you have any ideas for Lifecycles?
ReplyDeleteWe are learning about how living things grow, change and resemble their parents.
We are going to keep mealworms in the classroom and hopefully also chickens and /or butterflies.
I am thinking of growing plants too just for comparison but I don't have a green thumb. :-(

I'd love to blog about your five senses unit! I'll be teaching K-4 science next year, so it would be a wonderful way to kick off my "science posts" for the school year. :) My blog is The Teacher Garden (http://www.TheTeacherGarden.blogspot.com), and my e-mail is TheTeacherGarden@yahoo.com.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the opportunity!
I would love to have a science unit! I have been looking around this blog, and I really love what I see. A five senses unit would be great for me because I am going to be student teaching in the fall and I will need all the help I can get! I do not have a current blog, but I will be started one when I do my student teaching. Thank you!
